Melly Kho: Face Contour with MyVenus & Banobagi Clinic

Before Surgery
3 days before the surgery, Kak Melly came to Banobagi Clinic in Gangnam, South Korea for her first consultation with Dr. Oh Changhyun. On the same day, Kak Melly also underwent a medical check-up, X-Rays, and pre-surgery facial photos.
During the consultation with Dr. Oh Changhyun, Kak Melly also expressed her desire to have a more proportional face. Then, Dr. Oh gave input that Kak Melly's face would be made more symmetrical. In addition, because there was a little fat under her chin, Dr. Oh would advance Kak Melly's jaw, make it slightly longer, and remove some of the existing fat.
On the 7th day after the first consultation, Kak Melly came back to Banobagi for a blood test for the 3rd time!
Wow, why did she need a blood test up to three times?
It turned out that in the first blood test, Kak Melly's SGOT (Serum Glutamic Oxaloacetic Transaminase) and SGPT (Serum Glutamic Pyruvic Transaminase) levels were higher than they should be! After being referred to another clinic for a recheck, the results were still quite high, so Kak Melly was prescribed medication by the doctor to help lower her SGOT and SGPT levels.
Finally, on this 7th day, Kak Melly returned to Banobagi Clinic for the third blood test, and fortunately, the results were good!
Surgery D-Day
The next day, Kak Melly met with Dr. Oh again for a pre-surgery consultation, and the doctor also informed her that a little fat under Kak Melly's chin would be removed and advised her to go on a slight diet to reduce the swelling later. Before the surgery, Kak Melly was very excited to see the results later, and her hope after the surgery was that her chin would no longer look 'flat'. Wow, how will the result look like?
After Surgery
Well, after the surgery, Kak Melly was assisted by the Team from Banobagi for her post-operation after-care. Due to the effects of the anesthesia, Kak Melly was slightly weak and was helped by the Banobagi team to walk. This is normal to happen after surgery due to the effects of anesthesia!
For the next 1 week, Kak Melly was only allowed to eat liquid food and had to take medicine 3 times a day. In addition, Kak Melly was allowed to brush her teeth, but had to use a small toothbrush because she could not open her mouth wide yet! It should be noted that Kak Melly was not allowed to brush her teeth using toothpaste for a week.
Post Surgery
Day 1 Post Surgery
Well, this is Kak Melly 1 day after the surgery!
The bandage on her jaw was allowed to be removed, but on this first day post-surgery, Kak Melly still felt pain in her jaw area. This pain is also normal to feel, especially after surgery! Kak Melly also felt her throat was dry and had a bit of difficulty speaking, due to the swelling inside her mouth. Everything Kak Melly experienced is normal after a face contour surgery process. Kak Melly's eyes were also still slightly red, and according to the doctor, this is also normal. However, it must be noted that each person will experience different conditions after surgery!
Day 3 Post Surgery
On day 3, although Kak Melly's face was still swollen, Kak Melly had already started going out for walks and could even eat bingsu! Wow, eating ice even in cold weather! Kak Melly's eyes were still red and the swollen area on her chin and neck turned into yellowish bruising. As the doctor had said, indeed day 3 and day 4 are the phases where the face will be very swollen. So don't worry! Kak Melly also occasionally choked on blood because there were blood clots from the remaining surgery in her chin area and coughed.
Day 7 Post Surgery
On day 7, Kak Melly went for a walk around the Gangnam area! The swelling had started to subside and only yellowish bruising remained in her chin area, and the redness in her eyes had also improved significantly. The yellowish bruising in her neck area was completely gone! For food, Kak Melly was still eating liquid food, but Kak Melly had also started eating noodles in small portions.
Day 10 Post Surgery
On day 10, we can see that the swelling was much lower compared to the previous days, right? The yellowish bruising on Kak Melly's face had also begun to fade and the redness in Kak Melly's eyes was completely gone! For food, Kak Melly had started to upgrade the texture to porridge and soft noodles.
Well, this 10th day was the day when Kak Melly could come back to Banobagi to get her jaw stitches removed!
